George Tomes brings 55 years of band experience, more than 20 years as a public-school band director, and 27 years in the U.S. Army Band.

Member of Music Teachers National Association, Texas Music Teachers Association, and Waco Music Teachers Association.

No additional charge if a lesson runs overtime.

Students should bring their lesson books and necessary equipment.

Split piano-and-band sessions are available on request at no additional charge.

A simple policy helps students build consistent habits and keeps lesson scheduling fair.

Payment & cancellation

  1. Lessons selected at the beginning of each month are paid in advance.
  2. Student absences due to illness, vacation, or another personal reason remain payable and are non-refundable.
  3. If Mr. Tomes cancels, the lesson will be refunded or rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
  4. Regular attendance is essential to steady musical progress.
